The failure of Adam and Eve to be rationally reflective and responsible for their own action presented God with the problem of what to do about  God like creatures who lacked self control and who showed a proclivity to blame others for for their failure. 

 

In the fulness of time God sent his only begotten son Jesus into the world of humanity in order that through the perfection of his self disciplined life and his voluntary suffering and death- Jesus could provide the vehicle for the redemption of failed humanity.
