Since Jesus is conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, Jesus' "Father" is God.  However, Jesus is the divine person who subjects his divinity to humanity.  Therefore, Jesus has another "Father" in Joseph. 

      According to his human nature Jesus requires a human father (just like anyone else).  Joseph will provide Jesus with the male half of his human nurture and upbringing.
